Obviously something is rotten on Pennsylvania Avenue; no intelligent American president would do the things Obama has done. There has been talk of his inexperience, incompetence, or just plain stupidity to explain his Bizarro-administration.
However, Obama is not incompetent; he is an intelligent anti-American president. Obama is not a failure at his job -- his job is the failure of our country.

As long as corporate interests control Washington, the United States will never have a government that resembles a democracy, much less a republic.
When so-called experts in the media discuss America’s problems and offer solutions, you are not likely to hear mention of the power held by lobbyist groups. On rare occasion when the influence of lobbyists is mentioned, it is only in passing. Never will you hear anyone in the media recommend an end to all lobbyist activities as one component of restoring America’s past greatness.
Today, the power wielded over Washington through lobbyist organizations is thought of as a birth right of sorts..............

The costs related to Mrs Obama’s solo trip mainly include the flight on the specially designed military aircraft she took instead of Air Force One, as well as any extra staff and Secret Service that had to be enlisted to go with her. She would also have had her own motorcade from the airport to her vacation residence.
The family are to spend 10 days in a rented compound. The President will be staying with his family at the Blue Heron Farm, a sprawling, $50,000-per-week estate with plenty of room for staff and Secret Service agents accompanying him on the trip. Mr Obama boarded Air Force One with First Dog Bo on Thursday as a new poll showed a startling loss in the commander-in-chief's favourability before he heads to Martha's Vineyard.

Americans would rather see the U.S. Postal Service dramatically cut its workforce and reduce mail delivery to three or four days a week than have the government pour more money into the financially struggling agency.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 50% of American Adults believe the federal government should allow the Postal Service to lay off the estimated 120,000 workers it needs to reduce its current losses rather than provide the agency with additional subsidies to cover those losses. Thirty-three percent (33%) think the government should provide subsidies to cover the agency’s losses, estimated at $8 billion last year. Another 17% are undecided what's best. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

At a one-hour meeting in Arpaio's office, the tea party leaders presented the sheriff with a petition that was drafted after a speech by Corsi the previous night. Corsi, author of a best-selling book challenging Obama's eligibility, "Where's the Birth Certificate?", presented evidence from numerous computer-imaging specialists who believe the document presented by the White House April 27 is not authentic.

In total, the twelve members appointed to the Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction got nearly $64.5 million from special interests groups over the past decade, with legal firms donating about $31.5 million and Wall Street firms donating about $11.2 million.
Of that $11.2 million, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Bank of America and JPMorgan Chase donated approximately $2 million combined.

Just very recently I have noticed the installation of video cameras at almost every single intersection in and out of town.
Now I can look at this both ways, it may be in preparation for when Sarah Palin get elected and to keep a video log of who travels where, or it could be something else.
We basically have just one major road running through town, its not a big town actually. At on intersection near her house they have no less than four cameras aimed at every angle on the intersection.
Its just kinda strange to see so many around. Its like we are even anything resembling the UK where its common, this is Alaska. I just thought I should pass this information along.
