..... His response was “The White House notified all military funeral service detachments to immediately remove ‘the President’ and insert ‘the Secretary of Defense’.
I couldn’t believe what I heard and the soldier smiled and said “You can draw your own conclusion sir but that was the order”. He, too, was ashamed of what he was required to say.
This president has taken off the gloves. My only response to this endless cesspool of Anti-American rhetoric dripping from his mouth is to borrow a phrase (with one minor change) uttered by another temporary Washington resident living in government housing: “Today for the first time in my adult life I was ASHAMED of my country”.
I did not serve in the military but my love of country parallels that of people like my late uncle who bled Red, White and Blue.

It has a government-granted monopoly on first class mail. In 2007 an FTC report noted that the service does not pay taxes, including property tax on its 38,000 facilities; does not pay vehicle registration fees, and can borrow at subsidized interest rates from the U.S. Treasury.
And they do borrow… which is how they get away with claiming that they are "not subsidized". They don’t get subsidies (except in some years, when they do), they just get loans… and more loans… and more loans.
Maybe they should join up with Bank of America or Goldman Sachs and add subprime mortgages to their services at the stamp window..................

He feels that he can live like king, act like a prince, golf anytime he wants, and enjoy the most luxurious things in life, all while making sure the rest of us are treated differently. Government seems to have a relentless appetite for demanding even more from all of us, and yet they seem to badly mess up everything that they try to accomplish.

Obama has to be trembling over the possibility of facing a tribunal that would finally address and get to the bottom of his illegal position of being Constitutionally unqualified to sit in the office of President of the United States. His every move or action is a violation of our laws and rules due to his ‘non-natural born status’ that he still refuses to furnish “original” certified documentation of proof.
There can be only one reason for this refusal and we all know what that is: Proof of his legitimate citizenship does not exist.
Right now if I were either Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid, the two most guilty of malfeasance or their sworn Constitution duties when they certified Obama to be eligible to hold the office to which he usurped, I would be as uncomfortable as the Usurper himself is...........

On Tuesday, September 20, 2011, Dick Morris, a well known political commentator on TV, press and Internet threw a small bomb on to the world stage of political punditry with the heading “Obama Might Pull Out”.
It caught my eye because it was what I had been wondering what Obama would do since the unflattering poll numbers he has been garnering must surely be wounding his narcissism to the point of distraction. A man with an ego like his is bound to break and run from any diversity that he can’t control. His intelligence is obviously not in line with his egocentricities and he has to be suffering from great wounds to his pride.

Our permanent political establishment hopes that, with the help of an obsequious mainstream media, the public will forget the politicians’ complicity in the greatest fraud ever perpetrated on the American people.
It is truly sad that some members of Congress, who citizens expect to possess higher standards of behavior, have been co-opted to participate in this deceit.
Col. Chris Gibson (Ret.) is serving his first term in the U.S. House of Representatives from the 20th District of New York.
Rep. Gibson retired from the U.S. Army in 2010 after having served four combat tours in Iraq and deployments to Haiti and Kosovo.
He received a Ph.D. in government from Cornell University and numerous medals and awards from his military service.
One could be mistaken for believing that Rep. Gibson is a knowledgeable, independent thinker and a man of integrity.
Unfortunately, Gibson appears to be just your run of the mill politician swapping out honesty for political expediency in exchange for the continued support of the Republican establishment and done at the expense of constituents’ legitimate concerns.

It’s hard to tell if the idea that Ron Paul cannot win in 2012 is more ignorant, in its complete lack of historical sophistication, or more arrogant, in its claim to certainty amid all the complexity of 300 million lives and the myriad issues that affect them.
Sometimes, perhaps once in a few generations, a nation can undergo what a mathematician or physicist would call a “phase change.” The classic example of such a thing is a pile of sand. Every grain you add makes the pile slightly steeper and slightly higher without moving any of the other grains inside the pile, until eventually one grain is added that causes an avalanche of sand down the sides of the pile, moving thousand of grains and changing the shape of the pile.
Such behavior can be exhibited by all complex systems, and a nation — it should be obvious — is much more complex than a pile of sand.
The important point for those who would presume to make such grand predictions as “Dr. Paul cannot win” is that no examination of the pile of sand before the point of avalanche would tell you that, or when, the avalanche will eventually happen.
But happen it does; indeed, happen it must.
And there are numerous examples of abrupt and dramatic phase change in the politics of great nations......................

Cohen this morning announced the official nationwide launch of "Internet Essentials," the program that will provide low-cost Internet services, affordable computers, and digital literacy training to families with children who are eligible for the National School Lunch Program.
"Broadband is our central platform in this 21st century for economic growth, innovation, and information. Broadband can be the great equalizer – giving every American with an Internet connection access to a world of new opportunities that might previously have been beyond their reach," FCC Chairman Genachowski said on Tuesday
. "But roughly 100 million Americans are being bypassed by the broadband revolution. That's 68% of Americans who aren't connected at home. Compare that to South Korea and Singapore where adoption rates top 90%. Low-income Americans and minorities disproportionately find themselves on the wrong-side of this digital divide."
Closing this digital divide is an important mission for government bodies like the FCC and NTIA, because opportunities in health care, education and employment are increasingly tied to an individual's access to the Internet.

I do not understand how many news people and politicians in this country can claim that Obama is not disqualified to be President of the USA. It is so patently obvious that he has never been a Natural-Born American.
There are several famous personalities that are speaking out against Obama’s fraud: the star of Texas Rangers Chuck Norris, himself an honorary Texas Ranger; Gospel singer Pat Boone; and Victoria Johnson of Saturday Night live fame.
Then there are the Hollywood stars such as Jane Fonda and Sean Penn on the other side of the issue. Ironically, Fonda’s brother Peter is not on Jane’s side................

I do not understand how many news people and politicians in this country can claim that Obama is not disqualified to be President of the USA. It is so patently obvious that he has never been a Natural-Born American.

A government’s laws direct all those within its jurisdiction. They go further. They presume to "speak" for those under control: to say what is right and wrong, to say that this is what you shall do and shall not do, and to say what you may do and what you may not do. Still more, they say that this is what will be taken from you and what will be given to you.
Law-making is a great power, and we can expect that those in government are going to use it to advance their own interests. To some extent, law-makers attend to some complex mixture of our individual interests, but the reflection of what each of us wants as mirrored in the laws they produce is a highly distorted, usually unrecognizable, image. For all practical purposes, their interests are not "our" interests.
Therefore, let’s distinguish them the lawmakers from us the law-takers.
Economists speak of "price-takers". This is a person or company that, in making an exchange, is not influential enough to affect prices. I propose a similar concept in political matters. A "law-taker" is a person or company not influential enough to affect laws.
Most of us ordinary Americans are law-takers. Those who are not I call lawmake.................

It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president.
The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince.
The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president...............

Government in America has gotten completely and totally out of control. Our founding fathers originally intended to set up a nation where the power of government would be greatly limited, but today government has become a horribly bloated monster that is relentlessly growing. It is not just the federal government that I am talking about.
All over the country, there are state and local governments that have become monstrous as well. No matter who we elect, they just want even more of our money, they demand even more of our time and our resources, they pile even more rules and regulations on to our backs, they seek even more control over us and our children and they take even more of our liberties and freedoms away. They have invented hundreds of different ways to drain money out of us, and yet it is never enough.

Athletics is a game…life is life-and-death…and many parents invest all of their energy in things that really are of little importance. “Straining at a gnat and swallowing a camel” is how Jesus described much of our lives.
The more football one watches the more he tends to believe that he is an expert in strategy. These are the guys who are known as “armchair quarterbacks” because they love to make decisions from the safety of their living room. Most fans love to practice “20-20 hindsight”….describing to anyone who will listen how he would have done it…once the play is over. My coaching experience tells me that second-guessing is a lot easier than first-guessing. Believe me; after the play is over I know if the call had been a good one. The last thing I need is some guy with a Budweiser and pizza stains on his shirt explaining to me what I should have done.

They threw out the Articles of Confederation, i.e. they threw out the existing government at that time, and they wrote a whole new Constitution......
